Is there a good place to shoot some stick in the Pavas or Escazu area? You know decent table, straight sticks, drinks, etc........Thanks for the help.

The only place I know of close to Escazu, is Mac's. The tables are in rough shape so I never go there. It's on the way to Escazu from San Jose, next to Hollywood Mens Club.
Key Largo accross from the Del Ray has decent tables.
The newly remodled Ebony56 in El Pueblo has brand new tables and sticks, and it's in a different room than all the rif-raf of El P, so it's alright too.
Probably the best place to go would be Metro Bowl right next to Multi Plaza.

Thnaks for the quick reply, Will be checking out the ebony joint you mentioned. Macs tables are horseshit, while like you said metrobowl is nice, but service and music sucks. Never saw tables at Key Largo, but haven't been there forever. Any more good inputs??

Touch, below Mall San Pedro. Went there once and liked the tables and sticks. Again, like most sports bars down here...the service and food sucked.

Why does the service suck everywhere? It really is the worst....even though I'm a firm believer in tipping big.

EJP. I meant Big Dogs in front of Forum,where "la casa de la urraca" used to be...the biker bar is alright but the tables suck.

Never been where you're talking about, but gonna check it out soon. Talk to some friends and they agreed that they have decent tables. By the way, exactly like you said, the tables at Bikers aren't good at all, but they do have a straight stick or two if you search.

Best place for shooting pool is Ralph's in San Pedro, if you wanna go that extra mile. Great tables and sticks, you can buy beer and the best of all, there's a gym inside the place, so you can check out sweaty girls while you play with your balls
